Human Rights legistion needs to be amended to ensure that the pursuit of human rights by one person or group does not deprive others of their rights.

Why is this idea important?

Actions have been undertaken under the guise of Human Rights that have deprived others of their right to opt out of activities that they find unacceptable for religious or ethical reasons. For example, doctors and nurses should not be excluded from their professions simply because they are unwilling to participate in abortions or euthansia, or wish to wear religious symbols whether crosses or burqas. As long as alternative provision is available, insisting that everyone must conform is repressive and a contradiction of Human Rights.
