Currently, It is nessasary to tell the DVLA when a vehicle is not to be used on the public roads, and is going to be stored unlicenced. (by making a Statutory Off Road Notification)
If the cat tax were to expire, surely that is enough that the DVLA would be aware of this, and so would not need to be told.
It seems totally unnessasary to be required to inform the DVLA at every moment, and overly beurocratic.
