As the title says.

The recently passed "Equality" bill currently contains a provision that allows for discrimination against people based on their sex, race or religion.  This discrimination is justified under the banner of "Positive Discrimination" or "Positive Action".

The practice should be outlawed and  prevented by any means possible and the relevant legislation should be removed completely.

Why is this idea important?

Throughout my life I have been brought up with the belief that everyone should be treated equally regardless of their race, sex or religion.  I hold to these beliefs.

I am white, male and I have two young sons.  The very idea that my own government has passed legislation that provides a means to legally discriminate against myself and my two sons makes me feel physically sick.

I know I am not alone in this regard.
