It is far too easy for so called H&S workers to play the safety card on every aspect of British work. They constantly misinterpret and misapply H&S legislation at work. This burdens engineers and the workers to the point of not being able to do their jobs and the cost is astronomical. Engineers and workers should not be dragged through this turmoil every day for the sake of keeping these parasitic workers in jobs. Every project now does not bear relation to the amount of materials and labour and is far overpriced. The government especially could make a lot of savings here.
There is an appalling amount of unnecessary and wasteful health and safety rules
