We are often told that Health & Safety rules are stopping things from taking place. Therefore I propose that these regulations are looked at. My assumption is that it is the fear of being sued that is actually the problem and that the health & safety regulation is being used to limit any potential liability. So I propose that the regulations on sueing public bodies and individuals are also looked at and the "no win no fee" business is reviewed.

Why is this idea important?

I feel that public bodies particularly schools and teachers are reluctant to provide opportunities for children to take part in activities that carry some risk for fear of being sued if an accident does happen. This limits the potential of children to have fun experiences and learn life skills.

There is also an lement in society who are looking to make claims against public bodies as a way of generating income.
