Kids and swimming
The government says kids can swim for free. Why, then, do they need passes? They lose these – and photo ID (yes – a passport!) has to be shown plus further form-filling to replace a lost pass. All this just to swim. All kids should be waved through into the swimming paths as they approach the turnstile. (Why do they need a piece of plastic to prove they are a child when it is obvious to see!) This would also save a lot of money on admin.
Why does this idea matter?
Save money on needless red tape. There's quite an industry producing thousands of these superfluous cards.
Stop irritating kids and parents.
