Local Councils should not be allowed to prohibit photography in bus stations.

Why is this idea important?

Bus enthusiasts are invloved in preserving part of our local history on film. Middlesbrough Council has been using strongarm tactics to eject bus enthusiasts from Middlesbrough bus station if they are seen photographing buses – or in one case simply changing the lens on his camera! Important images of local history are as a result being lost.

It is ironic that it is this same authority which has swamped the town with CCTV cameras which are manned round the clock and even notoriously speak to anyone seen, for example, dropping litter.
