Foreigners, including people from the EU, must have health insurance. If they arrive with out it they must be required to purchase it at the place of entry. No insurance, no entry. It would save the NHS millions. They have started to do this in Cuba. So should we.

Why is this idea important?

Foreigners cost the NHS millions of pounds. Giving simple emergency treatment is one thing, as we would get in the EU, but our NHS should not be expected to treat existing conditions. We wouldn’t be treated for existing conditions in other countries. We should stop being a ‘soft touch’.
