compulsory recycling of appropriate waste food in shops to animal outlets like farm's or zoos at a minimal price or for free,

Why is this idea important?

working in the food sector of retail, I see good food being wasted and thrown away, because the big companies like the CO-OP will not recycle to farm's zoo's etc, We have farmers who would pay a minimal price of 20p to 30p per item or a £1 per clear sack of appropriate food to feed wild life and farm live stock. The food industry already overproduces and which can be rectified with sensible measures so why don't we recycle waste food back in to the animal industry, but ensure that we do not feed bad meat and fish to animals and start another CJD outbreak
