When making an offer on a property, or indeed accepting an offer, it should become a legally binding contract.

Why is this idea important?

It is quite clear that the current (English) system for purchasing property is not an honourable system. Too many house sales fall through due to dishonourable "Gazumping" and "Gazundering" causing a very uncertain chain scenario in the house property market. This can leave buyers or sellers who have done no wrong out of pocket by thousands of pounds.

This happens regularly with the current system.
