Most of our larger companies, and a lot of smaller ones too, spend a great deal of money ensuring that they have a friendly voice in Parliament looking out for their interests.

However, it is clear that the sponsorship of MPs is currently not gaining these companies the publicity they deserve,.

I suggest that MP's wear the logos of the companies that pay them just like Formula 1 drivers do.

Why is this idea important?

It is important for our democracy that when a company purchases the influence, ability to question, ability to raise issues and other unquestioned skills of our MPs that we recognise the contribution they make.

Making the MP in question wear their logo will serve as advertising and let us all know which companies care so much for our democracy that they are willing to pay for a bit of it for themselves.

Alternatively, it would be nice to know who exactly these buggers are working for, because it certainly isn't the poor constituents.
