Remove statutory obligation to teach National Curriculum.

Why is this idea important?

National Curriculum is subject to ministers current obsessions and nearjerk reactions to events in the news. It may be slimmed down or begin in a slim form but many add-ons can follow making it unmanagable and restrictive of teachers' professional judgement.

Follow the Scottish model of providing guidance on what should be taught. Or instead, be more specific, placing a statutory requirement to teach English, Maths & Science (Darwin's theory & sex education only) but without numerous objectives to be taught.
