It is now totally impossible for anyone to stop people for trespassing on property to retrieve balls. Police at the moment seem unwilling or unable to deal with such matters, mainly because young people seem to have more rights than adults in this nanny state climate. This causes not only stress to the owner of the property but also potential damage to property and its contents. We need the ability for councils to reintroduce the "No Ball Games" signs in areas deemed to be unsuitable for ball games, particularly when a designated play area is within a certain distance and there is danger from traffic on the roads.

Why is this idea important?

Safety of Children and the protection of home owners and landlord's properties from damage and trespassing.
