Bring back the original power of attorney forms

Why is this idea important?

The new lasting power of attorney forms are long, complex and expensive to the extent that only the reasonably affluent will consider using them.  The consequence of no Power of Attorney/Lasting Power of Attorney is that the Public Guardian has to be involved.  Although the Public Guardian may appoint a family member as a Receiver, every application, for example, a sale of property, carries a large fee which may not be refundable if the application is turned down.

At least with the EPAs more people are likely to consider making one.
