Abolish final salary pensions for public sector and get rid of the job for life culture and the freeloader enviroment in which these people are employed.

Why is this idea important?

Public sector workers should have to pay for their pensions like everyone else, by all means allow the state to put in a 5% contribution as an employer but the employee should pay the going rate, and make them all have money purchase schemes.

Get rid of the enhanced redundancy terms.

The bonus payment culture is a joke and also the sickness benifits, if I had 6 months off work with stress I would lose my job, a council worker not only gets full pay, but then gets moved to a less stressful job on the same pay and gets a £1000 payment to get a dog to cheer them up!
