Schools are places of learning, not indoctrination, so all schools should not have to teach religion, faith schools should be converted to education schools, and religion should be an option to be done instead of a long lunch break – a bit like tennis.

Why is this idea important?

Children are open to all ideas when growing up, so to be told that one way is correct (Judeaism, Catholicism, Islamism, etc) and all the others are wrong (with the horrific medieval threats to non-believers) is simply ridiculous. Let the parents decide the fate of their children outside school hours, and let the children grow up to make their own choices from an adult perspective. The state should not condone (financially or otherwise) church based statements of 'fact' as so many of these 'facts' are mutually exclusive.
