Remove the ability for social workers to place a supervision order on a child between the ages of 16-18 in order to prevent them being processed by the police or courts as an adult. These orders are effectively a "get out of jail free" card for youths.

Why is this idea important?

A large proportion of youths on supervision orders continue to commit crime in the knowledge that the police are unable to deal with them effectively. Removal of these orders would allow these youths to be treated as adults, as all other 16-18 year olds are, and hopefully reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
