Employment would be increased as it becomes cheaper and simpler to employ people and more expensive to use carbon intensive items.
This would also encourage industry to change direction towards more sustainable products.
Gradually bring in a Carbon Tax for every item sold. This would have to be flexible while the carbon use was calculated. The tax would pay for the money lost when National Insurance was stopped.
