Repeal or amend the Terrorism Act 2000, especially section 44.

Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000 enables police to stop and search anyone in a designated area without reasonable suspicion.

Why is this idea important?

Section 44 is an attack on civil liberties, because it hinders the freedom and intrudes on the privacy of people to go about their daily lives, and because it reduces the quality of the relationship between the police and the public.

Section 44 was judged by the European Court of Human Rights on 12th January this year to be illegal.
