The restrictions preventing shops opening long hours laws need to be repealed.

Why is this idea important?

This is an archaic law and should be repealed immediately, even New Zealand has supermarkets opening 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Shopkeepers can choose to close on a Sunday or any day they choose.

It is also inconsistent, corner stores and the small supermarkets can open all day on a Sunday, but Tesco or M&S can't. Why is that?

This is a particular situation where is should be left to the market to decide.

The sooner this law is passed the sooner I can go to Tesco at 9:30pm on a Sunday evening to buy my groceries.
