My idea is to SCRAP the recent Emergency Budget as it broadly penalises ordinary people – some call this the blunderbuss approach – but what it means is that ordinary Joes like you and me end up being hammered by the Chancellor for a deficit that we have NOT caused. This financial fiasco was brought about by the Financial Sector – Bankers, Hedge Fund Managers, Pension Fund Managers – who should have known better. They led us to the brink of ruin and now they continue to pay themselves extortionate salaries and bonuses while we face penury for the next decade or so. The Budget and Finance Act 2010 should be scrapped and a new Finance Act introduced to make all financial institutions pay the tab that THEY ran up.

Why is this idea important?

My idea is uniquely important because, for the first time in political history, the buggers that wreaked havoc with our economy would be forced to pay for their mistake, thereby ensuring that they would at least think twice about doing it again. For these filthy rich individuals and organisations it would probably only take a few years of paying off this debt before we could all get back to normal again. REMEMBER, why should we pay for their mess?

SUPPORT MY IDEA AND MAKE THIS SUGGESTION THE ONE THEY HAVE TO TAKE SERIOUSLY: REPEAL THIS ACT AND LEGISLATE FOR THOSE WHO PRESIDED OVER THIS MESS TO SORT IT OUT AND LEAVE ORDINARY PEOPLE ALONE!
