To have the Treason Felony Act of 1848 repealed.

Why is this idea important?

This Act is still in force. It is a law which protects the Queen and the Crown, thereby forestalling any open debate about the future of the Monarchy.

In effect, it criminalises the advocacy of republicanism. As such, it is a relic of a bygone age and does not fit into the fabric of our modern legal system.
