The idea of hereditary monarchy is abhorrent in a democracy.

A non-executive presidency along the same lines as the Republic of Ireland should be introduced.

Why is this idea important?

A hereditary monarchy is antithetical to justice in many ways, but primarily because it limits the civil rights of both the royal family and others, and because it entwines the Church of England in the affairs of state.
