Reverse the decision to require new road vehicles to be fitted with daytime running lights form 2011, as it is dangerous.

Why is this idea important?

Motorcyclists are required to ride with dipped headlights because they are more difficult to see compared to other vehicles.

I understand that the previous government has agreed to implement an EU directive requiring daytime running lights to be fitted to all new vehicles in the UK from 2011, despite opposition from cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists.

The law will put vulnerable road users at even more risk, particularly as more drivers start to use headlights in the "lighting arms race" in a bid to become more visible than anyone else.  This is already starting to become a problem on the roads.
