The right of self-defence is fundamental. The use of deadly force to defend oneself, one’s family, and one’s business from murderers, rapists, and thieves is completely justified and must not be interfered with by poorly concieved laws based on emotional reactions. We cannot rely on the police as a preventive in such matters as they are a governmental service that requires someone to summon assistance after the fact. Our responsibility for our lives and property must not be interfered with by Her Majesty’s Government.
Indeed, the tradition and right of self-defence is a foundational and inseparable principle of English Law.
