I would like to see all prison sentances under one year removed from all data bases, as I feel this is an unjust means of committing the offender to being unable to find employment. This creates an unnecessary burden on the unemployment benefits system.
I also feel that bankcruptsy failings should be dealt with in the same way – e.g. removal of details off data bases. Same reasons as above – it only creates more unemployment when trying to get back on your feet and get a job!

Why is this idea important?

I feel that many are prevented from getting jobs because of these data based personal information records, both private and police.  This causes more unemployed and is therefore a burden on the benefits system.  For people with relatively low bankruptsy and prison charges of one year or less I feel should not be further penalised by their details being held on data bases.
