For far too long commonsense has been replaced by stupidities which, for example,

  1. prevent people from acting as human beings e.g. they can't rescue a drowning person because they are not trained to enter water;
  2. encourage people to make claims for compensation when the use of commonsense might well have prevented an incident in the first place.
  3. encourage people to create compensation situations.

Why is this idea important?

  1. People fear behaving normally for fear of being blamed.
  2. Businesses have to take out expensive insurance to cover every conceivable eventuality thereby increasing their costs which are, in the end, paid by the consumer.
  3. Insurers refuse cover or quote prohibitive premiums unless ridiculous precautions are taken to prevent every conceivable risk
