To bring back the right to buy for council tenants. This was scrapped after I had accumulated 28 years discount.

Why is this idea important?

It is important because for some people there are no other opportunity to own their own home. We had accumulated 28 years discount and lost it, because when our home was in a clearance area, the housing association that took over had charitable status, thus doing us out of the right to buy the house they moved us too. People don't mind having to rent the house for a five or ten year period before being able to buy it, but to take that right away all together is terrible, The tory party were talking about it.
