To reduce the fuel levy, or other taxes on fuel for persons living in rural areas.

Why is this idea important?

Significant numbers of the population live in rural areas and have NO access to public transport. Regrettably, many politicians seem to be unaware of this. We have no choice but to have cars and other private forms of transport. In the winter we are often snowed in, and so HAVE to have a 4-wheel drive, yet are penalised for it in the road tax system.

It should be basic that people who do not have access to public transport and who live far from urban centres should be able to buy their petrol and diesel more cheaply.
