I'd like to see the requirement that schools must hold an act of (broadly Christian) collective worship every day removed from law.

Why is this idea important?

This is out of date and no longer reflects our diverse nation. It forces children to pray and worship which is a clear breach of their human rights.  The opt out only causes friction as children are removed from their peer group.

Scrapping this law would demonstrate that the new government is giving the freedom that children deserve.

Leaving Christian groups free to practice their religion without forcing it on children who are too young to understand religion.
