Both taxation legislations are a significant blocker to SME growth in the UK. The complete uncertainly of the rules around these causes small business significant pain. Since their introduction the revenue generated has been significantly less than the cost to implement and manage.

A simpler system for small businesses would be welcome and would ensure growth for the UK. SME's are responsible to a large proportion of employment in the UK and in a time when jobs are going to potentially be lost in the public funding cuts private sector jobs are required.

I voted how i did because this was one of the key issues that was going to be addressed.

Why is this idea important?

Scrapping IR35/S660 would reduce the uncertainty and burden on small businesses and would help growth in a time when it is very much needed.
