Stop the requirement to continually collect and report on data on equality and diversity. There is no proof in my organisation that this has closed any gaps that might be perceived, or got the 'best people' into jobs or onto Boards or through resident involvent. Its expensive, intrusive needs constant updating – asking people over and over again and has no support from any customers in voluntary or public service areas.

Why is this idea important?

To save money, and to restore faith that public and voluntary services cash is used on 'real' services
