Introduce a two parliament automatic removal of laws. At the end of the first parliament, the complete set of laws to carry forward must be collated. This will then be presented to the people at election time. If the popular majority of people vote to keep a law, then it will continue. If they vote against, then the law continues until the end of the next parliament and is then struck off.

Thus any law voted against will either be automatically removed or will have to be redrafted by parliament. The redrafting should also include the ability for the people to get involved, with proposed amendments, etc.

Why is this idea important?

The laws of this country must be by common concent in order to be effectively shared.
