Suppress compulsory collective worship in schools

Whether my family and I believe in God, Krishna, Allah, Buddha, nature or nothing at all should be the only responsibility of the individual members in my family. The whole idea of having the monarch as the head of the church, to have so-called christian values, faith-schools and other religion-based divisive institutions is simply wrong.

The first stage to improve the situation would be to scrap compulsory collective worship in schools (and possibly replace it by discussions on what it is to be a responsible citizen).

But what can you expect in a country where people are not citizens, but subjects, and where politicians to all hues are going along with christian-based traditions?

Why does this idea matter?
