Give benefits only to Volunteer workers to encourage Charity work and Community Service.

Only people who are working in registered Charity organisations or as Volunteer workers in national projects such as woodland trusts would be able to claim longterm unemployment benefits. Anyone who currently sits at home must choose to do something for the good of the community if they are to receive benefits from the state.

Carer’s Allowance taxation

The Carer's Allowance is paid to people who voluntarily give up the opportunity to work and so should NOT BE TAXED. At little more than £1 per hour it causes great hardship and it is ridiculous to penalise further those who relieve the State of its caring responsibility in this way.

In addition, many carers can work from home while still caring, and should be allowed to earn as much as they can, without being taxed, up to the normal income tax threshold, and should not have to declare income and expenditure.

State hand-outs (benefits) only for the most needy

Yes, let's look after needy pensioners, the disabled, Armed Forces veterans and the most needy but let's tackle the many, many individuals who see their state hand-outs as their right and have no intention of finding means to fund their lives.

NHS AND BENEFITS

That no foreigner be allowed to have medical treatment in this country  unless it is paid for by some means at the time of treatment.  Many come here on holiday and conveniently fall sick or have babies or other treatment for free. Most of them are sick before arriving here.

No benefits should be paid to any foreigners coming to live in this country until they have paid at least 10 subcriptions into our benefits system.  Centainly NO benefits should be paid to illegal assylum seekers.  Both of these measures would save the country a few billion pounds of tax payers money

The benefits system is only there for the British

Only allow the benefits system in UK to be available to British and only after they have worked and/or proven their disability of not being able to work. The benefit system is not there for the non-taxpayer and should not be abused. Restructure/regulate the benefits system as currently it provides a means for people to live off it and never really seek work – which is not what it is there for. This is costing the taxpayer alot of money.

Carers

Allow carers legal rights to be classed as 'specialist advisers' when advising about the needs of the people we care for, particulary longterm carers. We are the people that know how to care and the needs involved. Social services need to be instructed to take full account of the advice given about care requirements. At the moment even when someone has been caring for 20+ years social services show a complete disregaurd for the advice given, always deeming that they know best when they have met a person once or twice.

Allow highly-skilled migrants to get citizenship faster in 2 years after arrival

Dear Deputy Prime Minister,

Please consider to change immigration laws and allow highly skilled migrants to apply for citizenship in 2 years time like for married to the UK nationals instead of waiting 5-6 years. Economic migrants bring lots of benefits by paying taxes, NICs and contributing to the society but do not have equal human rights ( to naturalise, to vote and become a citizenship) and must wait for so long. Therefore , people like me feel unsecured and do not risk to buy property or settle down completely until they will have the same rights as UK nationals.

Stop benefits for immigrants

The UK spends too much money on benefits to people who have never paid income tax here so lets stop. This would stop alot of immigrants coming here just to get benefits which many send back to families abroad.

If you come to this country you should be prepared to work, if you aren't then you don't get any money and frankly shouldn't of been let in in the first place.

There should be extra support for the people who had to leave home

most young teenage girls, are force to leave home because they are getting abuse, once they get a place to stay, they have to worry about getting a job,and they can't go back to education beacuse they benefits will cut off.

I think they should have a option to go back to education, even being on job seekers allowance the age shouldn't matter, and once they get a job, you shouldn't just kept them to pay everything e.g tax, doctors, dentist etc, you should help them and give them support or they just won't beable to deal with it Financial.

Habitual Residency laws for UK Citizens

To have a review of the JobCentres  use of the Habitual residency laws for UK citizens when they try to claim benefits due to an unfortunate event, such as losing their job? Should they be subjected to it?
