to amend the human rights  law .      if    the person whos human rights  are at risk ….is convicted  of a crime  that puts the lives of many people  in danger  .that person  should have no rights ..and no judge , or anyone else. should   use the law . to say that person must be allowed  to live here in this country   and that includes   the eu. courts

All regulations arising from full membership of the European Union

Simply that the United Kingdom withdraws from full membership of the European Union and all regulations in this country originating from the EU be annulled.  Thereafter the British Parliament will be sovereign in determining which European legislation is operative in this country and for how long.

Address Government’s limited power to block or repeal EU Regulations

Address the problem of the Government's limited power to block new EU Regulations.

Protect and Restore our Sovereign Rights.

Address the problem of the Government's limited power to repeal existing EU Regulations.

More time and attention should be given to negotiate and release our nation from the Red Tape that the EU has imposed, so that our elected government has more room to manoeuvre in introducing new domestic regulations.

Impose a Temporary ban on Immigration.

Immigration has been a total shambles for decades ever since the famous winds of change speech. This country has over the centuries taken in people of all races and they have become integrated into our society. Sadly for far too long unrestricted imigration has led to great social divides and serious problems for the future..

Given adequate and considered thought limited immigration which is required to fill specific needs could be allowed.

Enforced Metrication

One of the easiest ways to unwittingly become a criminal in Britain today is to use Imperial Measures, because we are most familiar with them, instead of Metric Measures, as required by European legislation.

Obviously, this mostly applies to traders, but to criminalise the use of measures is trivial. to say the least.

My suggestion is that HMG removes the enforcement of Metric Measures, and the consequent criminalisation of offences, and allows the use of dual (Imperial and Metric) measures, as deemed suitable by the trader to the customers he is trying to serve.

EU Laws

The repeal of the Single European Act, and subsequent Acts rtifying EU treaties would represent huge cost savings as well as enhancing democracy.

Moratorium on Immigration

It is now freely admitted that this country does not know the true numbers of immigrants both legal and illegal who have entered ther country in the last few years.  However it takes no imagination whatsoever to see the impact which the number of no-British nationals are having upon our services.  One only has to look at hospital queues, pressures on Police, affect upon schools, statistics on violence, inability of Social Services to cope, Bank queues, etc., etc.

The system is in a shambles.  The only way this situation can be corrected is to place a complete ban on any immigration over the next 3/5 years  whilst the whole subject is reviewed and brought under control with proper procedures for entry to the UK, suitable numbers of properly trained staff put in place and a  sensible policy developed for control from there on.

European Human Rights Act

We must scrap the current European Act and replace it with a well thought out British Bill of Rights which will protect the law abiding citizen but allow criminals, terrorists etc to be punished, by deportation , if necessary, to countries which have the death penalty. If thet break the law in those countries then they must pay the penalties imposed by the country they break the law in.

Prisoners in this country will forfeit most of their rights but should retain the right to life.

E.U.Law

My Idea is to be part of E.U. but not to follow the suite of E.U. law. I thing the best example would be the U.K. as mainland should be following the footstep of (C.I.) Channel Islands as jersey or Guernsey Law. They have their own law and they do not follow the E.U. rules or regulations. I also like to mention the human right regulation, as my point of view I think is time for that human act Regulation to change, as so many overseas people entering to U.K. without proper documentation and take advantage of our laws (It’s like cattle Market out there)

The Human Rights Act (or act of lunacy and criminals charter)

Repeal this disgusting sham of a law. it is a disgrace and goes completely against common sense. Other EU Countries need these laws as they are fledgling democracies. We do not we are the flag bearers of freedom and democrace for the last 300 years and this sham law merely defend the indefensible.

Stop Immigration/Refugees NOW.

Stop refugees from entering the UK. If they come in – ship them out again ASAP.

Freeze Immigration until England sorts itself out. We are living in a mess so why bring people in before we can tidy up?

Leave the EU – that should stop most of the daft, expensive legislation

Leaving the EU should stop most of the daft, expensive legislation which this site was set up to do. Most of the ideas proposed on this site would be impossible to repeal because the are binding on our government. Euro diktat has precedence over UK law in many cases.

Most of our legislation is now directed from Brussels. The government you elect here in the UK can rarely do anything about laws, regulations and bureacracy from the EU. Most of these things have been created after lobbying by special interest groups or big business. They have the deep pockets to employ specialist PR agents who – at best – wine and dine the EU bureacrats.

Even where the legislations sounds to be positive, it is usually at enormous cost.

Every year, thousands of new rules and regulations are published producing a monumental nuisance for almost every organisation in the country.

Some we know are EU-inspired, but other laws are less well known as EU in origin. In fact most of our legislation comes from over the water.  But the majority of EU laws and regulations are expensive to implement and monitor, and ineffective in not producing the intended effect; some are harmful, and of course some actually useful.

Reverse metrication

  • Remove requirement to state metric units when selling items domestically. Items for international sale should state both.
  • Phase back in use of Imperial units, both for selling items, and in education
  • Pardon all convictions for 'metric martyrs'
