Why does this idea matter?

Thereby reducing the "obscure" and out of the hat laws that many defendants seem to thrive on to gain technical acquittals. This will also reduce the burden of research and allow the public to become familiar and closer to the law which has become so complicated so as to alienate the normal person. It would also reduce legal bills that are trumped up by solicitors trawling endless books on the laws and lower the costs to law students, etc.
