I think that the law is pretty much useless. you can buy realistic air pistols and revolvers without a UKARA, but the government says that this section of the act will cut down on robberies. it won’t, they say youths will use a realistic airsoft weapon to simulate a real one in a theft. however, you can buy replica pistols which aren’ t two tone for the same price/less than most airsoft weapons.

Why is this idea important?

it will make it easier for airsofters to purchase a airsoft weapon that isn’t two tone. two tone airsoft weapons aren’t very good for re-enactment airsoft skirmishes. im not saying allow purchases for under 18’s, just so that people who treat airsoft as a real sport dont have to go through the tedious process of applying for a UKARA
