We need a fundamental Constitution of Civil Rights which cannot be repealed by any government and should be used as a template when making any new law.

Why is this idea important?

Every five years a new government is elected. New legislation comes in force from each government. Slowly our fundamental rights to privacy and civil liberties taken for granted are being eroded. This is being aided by new technologies and I fear that this 'march' of progress in new technologies will sleepwalk our democratic country to a Big Brother society. More information of our country citizens are gathered, collected and stored and this intrudes in to our private space.

Already our country is very different to the rights we had after the Second World War.

A Constitution of Civil Rights should curtail any new future legislation which effects our freedom to roam, and enjoy our personal space.
