Youth Crime

Comment 20th July 2010

When youths or young adults comity crime they seem to be given many warning before they receive a punishment. As the current thinking is we don't want to give them a recorded and drag them in to the crime justice system for life.

This warning system makes them think they can get away with it every time or they can do it once and the will only get a warning but then there hooked.

Why not give them punishment straight way but the first time or the first few times is should not show on their record to employers after a certain period of time allowing them to get a job a get out of the committing crime. Obvious this would exclude sexual crimes.

Why does this matter?

Less crime in the long run
