ban telephone cold telephone calls

1 Comment 26th August 2010

Do not allow companies to telephone a person's house to try and make enquires about their needs.  Or to try and sell them their services.

Why does this matter?

It is a total invasion of privacy

If I need information I shall go and seek it myself.

I answer my telephone when it rings…and sometimes it may be while busy doing something important.  To interrupt my activities, in order to barge into my personal space is not only a nuisance, it is also intrusive.

A telephone line is a link into my privacy, and I should be the one in charge of who Is allowed to use the facility.

Stop cold callers!! it should be against the law to ring the public about crap that we don’t need to know! It happens every day! Where are they getting our numbers from? Block them from accessing our personal information… Sort it!
