The idea
The prohibition of Cannabis and its usage is an infringement of both civil liberty and privacy. The evidence to suggest Cannabis is harmful is spurious at best, and its continual criminalisation is unsustainable. The regulation of the substance can cut both crime and reduce the amount of potent 'skunk' from the current black economy of drugs. Regulation would also create a large amount of revenue in a time where the entire market sector is in need of money and new businnesses.
Why is it important?
It's important for the sake of rescuing civil liberties from past administrations and for the economy.
