Re-instate the ability to create new petitions on the governments e-petitions website.
Why is it important?
The fact that creating new petitions has been suspended while the government reviews it's online services is ludicrous.
The government still employs, and pays the staff that maintain this website and so that's what should be done.
The idea that the new government thinks it can just decide to ignore the people whenever it likes is completely ridiculous and needs to be sorted out.
The e-petitions website provides a valuable petitioning platform for the people and should maintained so that the people can air their views in a single place and concentrated format rather than across the internet.
It also allows the petitions to be more accessible than paper petitions.
