The idea
Immigrants coming into this country from within the E.U. should be able to prove that they have sufficient funds to support themselves, or a sponsor that will do so.Or they should have evidence of a job to come to.
All this should be ascertained before they are allowed here to settle.
Why is it important?
Too many come here with their family in tow, who have no money, no skills no job, and no intention of finding employment. They are a huge drain on resources, benefits, housing, schools, NHS etc etc.
It is widely known that we are a soft touch, and things can only get worse when Turkey joins the E.U.
Stop the rot, now!
How about the UK leave the EU altogher? It’s clear that it only benefits the poorer nations and that free movement of Labour just means everyone gravitates to the richest countries, putting undue pressure on their services like housing and health and damaging employment prospects for their indigenous workers (those who have paid most tax into the system).
