The idea
Allow friends to come up with their own personal agreements about childcare, whether or not money/reward changes hands.
Why is it important?
I would like to offer to look after my friend’s child whilst she works. As I understand it, at present, I could look after her child in her house & receive payment, but if I want to look after her child in my house & receive payment then I have to be an Ofsted registered childminder! This would be an agreement between friends & I do not see why the government has to be involved.
