The idea
I think that gay couples should be allowed to marry, i.e. totally equal to straight couples.
Why is it important?
Everybody should be equal and have the freedom to marry who they like, why should people have to be descrinated against due to something they are born with. Gays do not ask will you civil partnership me, marrage is in someways expected, in that way it will help to increase acceptance. It would also help to reduce descrimination as at current, descrimination in marrage in some way gives people a level of intolerence from the top. The UK should start the trend by introducing gay marrage.
