The idea
Restore doctors' ability to issue prescriptions for 6 months for long term illnesses, instead of the current 2 months.
Why is it important?
This would save doctors constantly having to issue prescriptions and save patients four unnecessary trips to the chemist per year.
Who changed the “law” or was it actually changed at all. All the information I can find says, at a frequency decided by the doctor in consultation with the patient.
