The idea

I would like to see the law removed that prevents any law abiding citizen wanting to take innocent photographs in public places. The European court has already stated that secition 44 is in breach of human rights yet still remains.

I along with 1,000's of professional and amature photographers are challenged, cited and in many cases arrested in public for simply taking pictures in a public place. The police have been given far too much authority to stop, question and serach innocent members of the public under this sweeping law.

The many cases of photographers being arrested and photographic equipment being illigally confiscated along with the copywrited images that the ploice have oredered the photographer to delete is a total infingment of what our forefathers fought less civilised countries for in previous wars…PLEASE REMOVE OR AMEND THIS SWEEPING LAW TO ALLOW US OUR FREEDOM OF INNOCENT EXPRESSION BACK!

Why is it important?

Why is freedom to persue a simple hobby or profession important? Why is the removal under the European laws against human rights important?

BECAUSE IT IS WHAT OUR CONSTITUTION STANDS ON, IT IS WHAT OUR WHOLE SYSTEM OF LIBERTY AND FREEEDOM STANDS ON, IT IS WHY WE ARE AT WAR WITH OTHER COUNTRIES. IT IS WHY OUR TROOPS ARE DYING!

Give us back our own streets and bring us back from the Orwellian future so many of us are already afraid has arrived under the last few years of Labour induced histeria that has eroded so many of our civil liberties.
