The idea
Repeal all the treason laws. Anyone who gets a shot at the queen gets charged with murder/attempted murder.
Why is it important?
Given that it's illegal to commit murder, why have a second level of illegality. This would also reward anyone skillful enough to evade the security services, and allow for a fitter, healthier monarchy more suited to the 21st Century
