The idea
Make it illegal to buy, sell, distribute, manufacture or own tobacco products and openly encourage the rest of the world to do the same.
At the very least it should be illegal for parents or minders of minors to smoke.
Why is it important?
Smoking doesn't just kill or hurt the people that smoke, it ruins families, puts children in circumstances they have no control over and creates a dependancy that can keep families in poverty.
It's killed 7 members of my family and is currently killing 3 more. How can the government stand by while families are ripped to shreds by a product that we know kills people?
Why was I allowed to grow up in a house where two parents smoked? Why was my mother allowed to smoke while pregnant with me? It's child abuse. Why aren't the government doing something to stop this?
